All Cast Stone International products are handcrafted and manufactured in the United States using premium raw materials selected for strength, durability, and long-term performance.
We offer a range of standard finishes and natural color options. Because our products are handcrafted, variations in tone, texture, and surface appearance are natural and expected. Product images and samples are representative only and may not exactly match the final installed product.
Yes. Cast Stone International offers custom design capabilities for architectural, commercial, and special projects. Custom work may include modified dimensions, profiles, finishes, or entirely bespoke designs. Please contact our sales or project team to discuss your requirements.
PRODUCT CARE & MAINTENANCE
Routine cleaning should be performed using clean water and a mild detergent with a soft brush or cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, acidic cleaners, abrasive tools, or high-pressure washing, as these may damage the surface.
Efflorescence is a natural, powdery white residue that may appear on cementitious products due to moisture movement. It is a common and temporary condition and is not considered a defect. Efflorescence typically diminishes over time and may be removed with appropriate mild cleaning methods if desired.
Products that can hold water, such as planters or fountains, must be properly drained before freezing conditions occur. Planters should be elevated on risers to allow drainage and airflow. If possible, move smaller items to a covered or protected location during winter months to reduce freeze-thaw stress.
Yes. Cast stone is designed to weather naturally. Over time, products may develop patina, subtle color variation, or surface changes due to environmental exposure. These changes are normal characteristics of architectural cast stone and are not defects.
ORDERING, DELIVERY & INSTALLATION
Orders may be placed directly through Cast Stone International or through an authorized distributor. For commercial or architectural projects, direct consultation is recommended to confirm specifications, quantities, and logistics.
Lead times vary depending on product availability, quantity, finish, and whether the order includes custom work. In-stock items may ship sooner, while custom or large commercial orders typically require additional production time.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, deliveries are curbside only. Delivery does not include unpacking, placement, installation, site preparation, or removal of packaging materials.
No. Installation is the responsibility of the customer or their designated contractor. We may recommend experienced installers for architectural or commercial projects upon request, but installation services are not provided by Cast Stone International.
PRODUCT USE & SPECIFICATIONS
Yes. Our products are suitable for residential, commercial, institutional, and architectural applications. Commercial projects should be reviewed by qualified design professionals to ensure appropriate specifications and site conditions.
Unless expressly approved in writing by Cast Stone International, products are intended for decorative or architectural use only. Structural or load-bearing applications require review and approval by a licensed architect or engineer.
Many outdoor products are designed with drainage considerations. Proper drainage is essential to prevent standing water, freeze-thaw damage, and premature wear.
WARRANTY & RETURNS
Cast Stone International products are covered by a Limited Warranty against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship, subject to specific terms, exclusions, and usage conditions. Please refer to our Limited Warranty documentation for complete details.
The Limited Warranty does not cover damage resulting from improper installation, misuse, environmental exposure (including freeze-thaw cycles), chemical exposure, normal wear and tear, natural weathering, efflorescence, or third-party components such as pumps or lighting.
All products must be inspected at the time of delivery. Visible damage or shortages must be noted on the delivery receipt and reported promptly. Concealed damage should be reported in writing within the timeframe specified in our Terms & Conditions, along with supporting photographs.
INSTALLATION & FIELD CONSIDERATIONS
Yes. Professional installers experienced with cast stone are strongly recommended, particularly for large, heavy, or commercial installations.
Proper support, foundation preparation, and anchoring are critical. Installation methods should follow project specifications and applicable building codes, as determined by the project’s design professionals.
Yes, provided proper drainage is maintained. Gravel layers, liners, and elevated placement are recommended to reduce moisture retention and potential freeze-thaw stress.
